  Notice of Nominations for Board of Directors Inbox President GCHOA 3:33 PM (1 hour ago) to bcc:  me The Nominations of new Board of Directors is going to start as of Friday May 6 2022 and will  end on Friday May 27 2022 at 5pm The positions of President, Secretary, Ombudsman and Clubhouse Director are up for Election this year. Nominees for election to the Board of Directors must maintain their principal residents in Grand Cove. Nominees also agree to fulfill the duties of their respective position as per the Terms of Reference.  Eligibility: Voting members of the Homeowners Corporation in good standing, may stand for election to the Board of Directors or any office of the Corporation. Officers, Directors and employees of Capreit or its associated contractors are not eligible for office in the Corporation.   i Dave, I wonder if you would send out an email to your HOA members.  I got a call from Sobey's last week asking if I could come and work for them.  I worked for Sobey's for 2.5 years.  I am currently not looking for work, but I told Janice the office manager, that I would put the word out in the Cove: Sobey's is looking for an employee to water the plants in their seasonal garden centre. This a part-time, temporary position for approximately 4 to 6 weeks.   Sobeys is also looking for mature cashiers and people with deli-like experience. These are permanent part-time positions, with flexible hours.  Contact Janice, Office Manager, at 519.238.8944 or drop off a resume/job application at Grand Bend Sobeys Store # 4739, 55 Main Street East, Grand Bend, ON With all the new people in the Cove, there might be some residents looking for part-time employment. I nformation for New website Inbox President GCHOA 12:04 PM (6 hours ago) to bcc:  me We will be launching our new website at the General Meeting on Saturday. The website will be open to all Grand Cove Residents at 12 noon on Saturday April 30 2022. (grandcovehoa,com)  We need all the conveners that have not already sent in information about their activities to send me the information ASAP  ( presgchoa@gmail.com )  So we can get it into the website before the launch.   Please send in detailed information about the activity so that people looking at the website will know what the activity is all about and what they need to bring with them for your activity.   Fwd: Shuffleboard Inbox President GCHOA 9:49 AM (5 hours ago) to bcc:  me                                                        SHUFFLEBOARD Welcome everyone to the fun, non-competitive sport of SHUFFLEBOARD at GRAND COVE Our court is located in front of the pool and to the side of the Clubhouse,,, we have 2 courts so we can have 8 people playing at once On the court, each team of two, will have one at each end.   There are 4 discs yellow and 4 discs black......the yellow discs are always on the right side of the court, black on left. The object of the game is for your two person team to  get the most discs to score while the other team is shooting to get yours off the court.....this can be quite tricky and angles can be played or ricocheting off other discs.....this comes with practice and, believe me, feels great when you get it to work! Once all the frames are played, the game is over and other teams take your place. This sport is so compatible to nearly every age and health cond
