Golf

Grand Cove’s Premier Fun Men’s Golf League will continue at Oakwood in 2022 and celebrate Oakwood’s 100 th Anniversary!! For those of you that have not been part of the league, the league is held from May to October at Oakwood golf course, just across the road from the Cove. It is a shot gun start at 9am every Monday. Everyone finishes about the same time. Groups are mixed up every week so everyone gets to know their neighbours. Our league purpose is just to have fun, which we do! Regular stroke play is played throughout the year to establish handicaps, as well as team match play and other events. We have 4 tournaments – The McColl Cup (International born vs Ontario born), our own version of The OPEN (British), a 2 week event - The Masters with the traditional Sunday green jacket dinner and the year end tournament where the GunnerEX Cup is awarded.
