With respect to my professional background I would refer you to my LinkedIn site

With regard to my interest in becoming a member of the Board these are limited to the following.

1. I want to ensure that GC maintains or increases the property values within the development. This can be done by looking after the interests of the community with great care. Full disclosure I own CAPREIT shares and I want to protect those investments as well.  I have lived in the park since April 2019 and in Grand Bend area every summer since 2011. Much has changed in the surrounding community over this time and has an economic impact on our community. As leasehold owners in South Huron there are development and environmental issues that need to be monitored and the communities interests protected.

2. Part of the GC board’s job is to listen to concerns from residents and, if possible, do something about them. People  often say they run for office in order to help people. Being a member of the HOA board is no different. By being a part of the board, I want to ensure that entirely transparent decisions are made that have a positive impact on the majority on the members of our community.

3. I have significant experience with a number of non profits particularly  in the problem-solving area. As a board member, I understand I will be on the receiving end of complaints from some homeowners. My approach is (and will be) to be patient in these situations. I understand that the HOA can’t achieve results without getting the support of the majority of HOA members and of course CAPREIT. I like solving problems and if they meet my #1 point of interest and involvement all the better.

4. Serving on the GCHOA board will give me an opportunity to meet with neighbours who have the same concerns about the community. I also look forward to meeting the local admin folks and help to foster positive relationships with them that in turn benefits our community
