Hi everyone
I have heard that Gidge our Social Director has called all the convenors asking them to cancel all the activities for the next couple weeks.
I am sending out this email asking Gidge to please call all of the convenors back telling them that if they are comfortable with running their events they are welcome to run them. If they are not comfortable running the events they are to send the President a notice of the Cancelation and I will send it out to the homeowners.  
Gidge please contact all convenors telling them that this is the correct way of canceling any event that is happening within the GCHOA.  It is not our place to cancel events if the Convenors are comfortable running the event.
Changing the Spring Reception is fine because Gidge is not Comfortable running this event on that date.
If Homeowners are not comfortable coming to events, that should be their decision. The Ontario Government have opened things up so we do not have the right to stop them from happening,

  i Dave, I wonder if you would send out an email to your HOA members.  I got a call from Sobey's last week asking if I could come and work for them.  I worked for Sobey's for 2.5 years.  I am currently not looking for work, but I told Janice the office manager, that I would put the word out in the Cove: Sobey's is looking for an employee to water the plants in their seasonal garden centre. This a part-time, temporary position for approximately 4 to 6 weeks.   Sobeys is also looking for mature cashiers and people with deli-like experience.
